The TInergy Nergs

Mark Buccini is part of TI’s Strategic Marketing team and an expert on the infrastructure of power. Focusing on smart grids, he is investigating how we can “move” power technology forward to take advantage of what’s new.

Bill Krenik is a senior technologist in TI’s analog technology group and describes the wireless industry as massive, sophisticated and important.  His forward thinking brain (40 U.S. patents and counting) have led to rumors that he can predict the future. In addition to portability, Bill is interested in discussions around wind power and electric cars.

Chris Link is TI’s energy business development manager, with areas of expertise in low-power wireless applications and high performance analog.

Chris Schairbaum is part of TI’s Strategic Marketing team and focuses on solar power technologies.  He works with customers and university researchers around the world to help develop better ways to harness solar power and put it to use in a broader variety of applications.

Nagarajan Sridhar is a project manager for TI’s high performance analog group in the interface and clocks products business unit.  His passion for promoting alternative energy stems from his expertise in photovoltaics during six years of research in amorphous silicon and poly-silicon thin film solar cell technology for large area applications.

Adrian Valenzuela is an engineer for TI’s ultra low power microcontroller families. He enjoys peeking inside new gadgets, coming up with ways to make things more efficient and powering electronics in creative, green ways.  His desk is currently covered in LEDs, robots and microcontrollers.

Paul Westbrook is TI’s Sustainability Development Manager and “Green Crusader.” As a LEED Accredited Professional and a senior member of TI’s technical staff, Paul lives green at home and at work.  He designed his own passive/active solar home, complete with a wind turbine in his lawn.  Paul is a sprinter on TI’s track and field team, loves driving his Prius and solving Rubik’s cubes in less than two minutes.

The TInergy team is made up of TI communicators who follow the ever evolving world of power and energy. The team maintains the blog and posts news about TI’s new innovation announcements and power activities.
